PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positron emission computed tomography apparatus capable of improving energy resolution, a program executed in the positron emission computed tomography apparatus, and a method implemented by the positron emission computed tomography apparatus.;SOLUTION: The positron emission computed tomography apparatus comprises a scintillator array, photosensors, an identification part, a storage part, and a derivation part. Based on signal values outputted from the one or more photosensors, the identification part identifies the position of a detected interaction event between a gamma ray and a scintillator, where the position is one of a number of divisions of the region, the number being greater than the number of scintillators. The storage part derives a total signal value, and stores the derived total signal value in a memory part in association with the detection position. The derivation part derives for each division of the region a correction factor for correcting an energy value based on a predetermined energy value and the total signal value stored in the memory part in association with the detection position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
