BUILT-UP SLEEPER AND BASIC SLEEPER THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a built-up sleeper which facilitates connection between rails and the fixation of the rail to the sleeper and which can greatly reduce vehicle operation inhibition factors such as a drop of a rail joint portion, and noise generation and track irregularity, associated with the drop of the rail joint portion, and a basic sleeper thereof.;SOLUTION: A built-up sleeper comprises two basic sleepers 2 laid in a laterally arranged manner under rails A, and a plurality of coupling bolts 3 for coupling the basic sleepers 2 together. The basic sleeper 2 is integrally molded from a lateral sleeper 2a laid right beside under the rails A, and a plurality of longitudinal beams 2b protrusively provided on both the sides of the lateral sleeper 2a. The longitudinal beams 2b of the basic sleepers 2 and 2, which adjoin each other in the longitudinal direction of the rail A, are coupled together by means of a joint plate 4 and the coupling bolts 3 so as to constitute a hinge structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
