PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately predict an α particle size of a steel strip having a crystalline structure containing a phase except for a ferrite phase.;SOLUTION: A temperature history calculation part 112 calculates a temperature history of each segment when cooled in a run-out cooling facility. A transformation history calculation part 113 calculates a transformation history of each segment when cooled in the run-out cooling facility based on the temperature history of each segment calculated by the temperature history calculation part 112. An α particle size calculation part 114 calculates an α particle size after completion of transformation of each segment based on the transformation history of each segment calculated by the transformation history calculation part 113. Then, the α particle size calculation part 114 calculates the α particle size after completion of the transformation by using an α particle size prediction model expression in which a time from a start of transformation until when a transformation rate reaches a predetermined value or more is included as a variable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
