PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure physical quantity such as a flow rate of a river at high efficiency and high accuracy for a long period in any environment.;SOLUTION: An acoustic tomography measuring system 100 transmits/receives acoustic waves having no directivity between an upstream transducer 2B installed on one riverside and a downstream transducer 2A installed on the other riverside. A time information calculation part 21 calculates information concerned with acoustic wave propagation time based on a correlation waveform between data demodulated from acoustic waves received by respective transducers 2A, 2B and predetermined data on the basis of time that the acoustic wave is transmitted. An average information calculation part 24 calculates a cross-sectional average acoustic velocity cm and a cross-sectional average flow velocity um in a cross section of the river based on an acoustic ray length L of the acoustic wave, an average propagation time tm and a propagation time difference Δt. A physical quantity calculation part 25 calculates the physical quantity concerned with the cross section of the river based on the calculated cross-sectional average acoustic velocity cm and cross-sectional average flow velocity um.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
