PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately provide the number of vacant seats in a store to customers without burden on a clerk.;SOLUTION: A number of vacant seats calculation device includes: a number of seats storage unit 410 for storing the number of seats in a store; an order information acquisition unit 110 for acquiring order information that shows order contents and a seat on which a customer sits; an accounting execution information acquisition unit 130 for acquiring accounting execution information that includes the order contents; an order information management unit 140 for storing the order information acquired by the order information acquisition unit 110 in a management memory 22 and managing residual order information that is order information whose accounting processing of which has not been performed, by removing order information corresponding to the order contents included in the accounting execution information from the order information stored in the management memory 22; a number of vacant seats calculation unit 420 for calculating the number of vacant seats by subtracting the number of seats in use identified by the residual order information from the number of seats in the store; and a number of vacant seats output unit 440 for outputting the calculated number of vacant seats to an external device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
