MULTI-BAND SUPERCONDUCTOR, SUPERCONDUCTOR DEVICE USING THE SAME SUPERCONDUCTOR, AND METHOD OF CREATING THE SAME SUPERCONDUCTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pinning of magnetic flux by generating the domain wall within a superconductor and to provide an information processing technique using the domain wall, thereby solving the problem in the conventional multi-band superconductor in which: it is difficult to have a domain structure in a two-band superconductor; and it is difficult to form a domain wall when a formation energy of the domain wall is increased in order to make the domain wall thinner.;SOLUTION: A multi-band superconductor having a domain structure with a thin domain wall is realized by introducing a third band, using a frustration generated in a phase difference among three bands, and generating a break of chiral symmetry within the multi-band superconductor. Further, it can be realized by a pseudo three component superconductor where in a two-band superconductor with the phase difference π between the bands, a non-superconductive layer is interposed and single band superconductors are stacked.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
