PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple protective gum liquid coating apparatus which does not generate a remaining gum liquid on a printing plate face of the back end part of a printing plate coated with a protective gum solution.;SOLUTION: The protective gum liquid coating apparatus for coating an original printing plate of a lithographic printing plate with the protective gum liquid has a pair of upstream side rollers of a gum section, a pair of downstream side rollers of the gum section, and a protective gum liquid feeding apparatus. The protective gum liquid coating apparatus is characterized in that an upper roller of a pair of the downstream side rollers is inclined in the opposite direction of the advancing direction of the original printing plate of the lithographic printing plate so that an angle (a) formed by a line connecting respective centers of the lower roller and the upper roller of a pair of the downstream side rollers and a line connecting the center of the lower roller of a pair of the downstream side rollers with the contact point CP may be 0a≤5° in a face orthogonal to respective roller shafts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
