Screening method for drugs that suppress portal vein invasion of liver cancer

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new marker that efficiently and accurately detects an invasion being an extremely important index of cancer progress at a gene and protein level. PSOLUTION: The new cancer invasion marker uses a Dominant-negative helix-loop-helix protein inhibitor of DNA binding 2 (ID2) gene being a kind of a differentiation control factor.
