PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rental system and a rental method of an electric automobile capable of allowing rental of the electric automobile having a vehicle function according to a usage unit such as an individual, a family, a group, raising usage rate of the electric automobile, and relieving a charge of a user while providing the electric automobile suitable for the user.;SOLUTION: A management server 6 of a vehicle rental system 1 accepts reservation information including a usage unit from a user terminal 5, receives vehicle information from each vehicle 2, instructs vehicle dispatch of the vehicle 2 to a station 3 near a vehicle dispatch destination based on the reservation information and the vehicle information, selects a control program by referring to selection information based on the vehicle function which is desired to be used, instructs rewrite of the selected control program to the station 3 near the vehicle dispatch destination, acquires information on an electricity used amount from the vehicle 2 under use, and calculates a rental fee by referring to charge information based on the usage unit, usage time, the used control program, the acquired electricity used amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
