PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability when a multihull is rocked largely inclined, and to improve a propelling performance and a kinematic performance by making a side hull small.;SOLUTION: Water surface overhang members 17 and 18 are arranged on both right and left sides of a main hull 16 so as to keep a gap 21 between them and a water surface 20. Side hulls 22 and 23 are mounted on bottom faces of the right and left water surface overhang members 17 and 18, and are into a semi-immersed condition. At the time of a large inclination such that the hull is horizontally agitated and one of the side hulls 22 and 23 comes out of the water surface, the opposite water surface overhang members 18 or 17 lands the water, so as to keep stability. Thereby, the side hulls 22, 23 can be made small, and also a propelling performance and a kinematic performance can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
