PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling a bath level in a continuous or semicontinuous molding device that can accurately control a bath level with high reliability without the influence due to materials inside the launder and inside the casting mold and structure, type or the like of a sensor.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling a bath level of a continuous or semicontinuous molding device, includes: a tapping adjustment device provided between a furnace body and the launder, as well as a device for measuring the amount of molten metal in a launder, which detects the weight applied to the launder to measure the amount of molten metal in the launder; and a tapping control device for generating a signal for controlling the tapping amount from the furnace body based on the amount of molten metal in the launder, measured by the device for measuring the amount of molten metal in a launder, so as to adjust the tapping adjustment device to maintain the amount of molten metal in the launder at constant level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
