PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sustained-release microparticles with excellent properties and a drug formulation containing the sustained-release microparticles, wherein in the microparticles that support a supported substance, the release of the supported substance can be sufficiently controlled, the supported substance can be sufficiently diffused even in a medium such as water, and two or more kinds of supported substances that have different solubilities in water can be gradually released by respectively desired amounts.SOLUTION: The sustained-release microparticles contain a supported substance, microscopic-granularity body and a coating agent, and the microscopic-granularity body has an average particle diameter within 20 to 300 μm. The drug formulation contains the sustained-release microparticles.
