PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy ingot for plastic working, in which strength is improved and recrystallized grains are hardly generated.;SOLUTION: When an aluminum alloy ingot for plastic working is cast and produced so that the ingot has a composition containing, by weight, 0.8 to 1.2% Mg, 0.7 to 1.0% Si, 0.3 to 0.6% Cu, 0.14 to 0.3% Mn, 0.14 to 0.3% Cr, 0.5% or less Fe, 0.01 to 0.15% Ti and 0.0001 to 0.03% B, and the balance is Al and inevitable impurities, and so as to have a structure in which the average grain diameter of a crystallized product is ≤8 μm, the secondary arm spacing of dendrite is ≤40 μm, and the crystal grain diameter is ≤300 μm; a homogenizing treatment at 470°C is applied to the obtained ingot after continuous casting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
