PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gun barrel cleaning method for reliably removing and collecting soot in a gun barrel without damaging the gun barrel.;SOLUTION: While dust in a bore is sucked from a gun breech 53 by a dust collector 10, and media are injected together with compressed gas, a blast gun 30 is moved from the gun breech 53 side to a muzzle 51 side, so as to remove soot. Compressed air including no media is injected and the blast gun 30 is pushed in from the muzzle 51 side to the gun breech 53 side, so as to push out the media and soot from the gun breech 53 and collect the media and soot by the dust collector 10. A diffuser 33 provided at the tip of the blast gun 30 diffuses injected injection fluid in 360 degree direction. Thus, the media collide with a bore inner wall uniformly, and the media and soot can be reliably collected by pushing in the blast gun 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
