PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which, when images for diagnosing displayed at a display means are printed or preserved by a layout suitable for printing or preservation regardless of a displayed layout, dispenses with changing the layout for display, and facilitates printing or preserving the image, and to provide a control program for the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.;SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus arranges the plurality of images for diagnosing by a specified layout, the images for diagnosing being formed on the basis of reflected waves obtained by using an ultrasonic probe 1, and displays them at the display means 4. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is equipped with input means 3 and an output image data generation means 29 which, when there is input instructing the printing or preservation of the plurality of displayed images for diagnosing from the input means while the plurality of images for diagnosing are displayed at the display means, generates output image data to be printed or preserved in which the plurality of displayed images for diagnosing are arranged by the layout for the printing or preservation regardless of the displayed layout.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
