PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document distribution system, a document management device, a document distribution method, a document distribution control program and a computer readable recording medium by which more effective distribution processing can be performed by sharing function information between the document management device and the document distribution device. PSOLUTION: The document distribution system 1 includes: the document management device 20 for managing an electronized document and distributing the document to the device of a distribution destination; and a document distribution device 10 for distributing the document managed by the document management device 20 to the device of the distribution destination. When distributing the document from the document management device 20 or the document distribution device 10, the document management device 20 or the document distribution device 10 applies a predetermined processing to the document to distribute the document. The document distribution system 1 includes a processing information holding means 220 for relating the document management device 20 or the document distribution device 10 as a device to execute the prescribed processing and holding it for each prescribed processing.
