PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition capable of preparing a zinc oxide thin film having an average transmittance of ≥80% to visible light and such low volume resistivity as to enable use as an antistatic thin film or the like even by low-temperature film formation in which the heating temperature of a substrate during film production is ≤300°C, from a composition based on the partial hydrolysis product of an organozinc compound.;SOLUTION: The composition for the production of zinc oxide thin films is a solution prepared by dissolving an organozinc compound or a partial hydrolysis product obtained by at least partially hydrolyzing the organozinc compound with water in a mixed solvent comprising an electron-donating organic solvent and an organic solvent different in kind from the electron-donating organic solvent. A composition for the production of zinc oxide thin films is also obtained by adding a group 3B element compound to the above composition so as to make a molar ratio to the organozinc compound 0.005-0.1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
