PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve moldability and flowability of nonionic and excellently stable low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose and further improve disintegration and easiness of oral dosing.;SOLUTION: The low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose is provided, which has crystallinity of 60% or less, a degree of substitution of a hydroxypropoxyl group of 5-9 mass%, and an aspect ratio of less than 2.5, wherein the crystallinity is calculated based on diffraction intensity measured by wide-angle X-ray diffraction method according to the following formula (1): Crystallinity(%)={(Ic-Ia)/Ic}×100, wherein Ic means diffraction intensity at a diffraction angle 2θ=22.5° and Ia means diffraction intensity at a diffraction angle 2θ=18.5°.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
