6-O-(Hydroxypropyltrimethylammonia)-β-cyclodextrin with Low Degree of Substitution: Convenient Preparation and its Application as a Chiral Selector in Capillary Electrophoresis

摘要

A cationic cyclodextrin derivative 6-O-(hydroxypropyltrimethylammonia)-β-cyclodex- trin (GTA-β-CD) with low degree of substitution was prepared through a convenient method in solid phase. The product could be used as a valuable chiral selector in the capillary electrophoresis (CE) separation of some acidic drug enantiomers such as naproxen, ofloxacin, ibuprofen and warfarin.
