PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extra wire accommodation box which can be located at various types of locations including a wall surface, a ceiling and a floor surface, can compactly accommodate an extra wire of a wire material and take out it therefrom, and can be made flexible in a mounting position of a ceiling block. PSOLUTION: The extra wire accommodation box comprises a base plate 2 for accommodating an extra wire L1 of a wire material L in a form of a loop extended along the inner peripheral wall surface of an accommodation part 5 of an ellipse shape, a winding spool 3 of a trapezoidal cone shape rotatably disposed to be biased on one end side of the base plate 2 in the accommodation part 5 for pulling the wire material L in the outward direction of the base plate 2 to keep the extra wire L1 in the accommodation part 5 so as to keep the radius of the wire L1 minimum, and a cover 4 for closing the upper side of the accommodation 5 part of the base plate 2.
