PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing sintered ore capable of manufacturing sintered ore with high productivity.;SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing sintered ore, the layer thickness of a raw material filling-up layer is not less than 650 mm, and the sintered ore is manufactured by selecting the height of the sinter cake supporting stand and/or the layer thickness of the raw material filling-up layer so that the supported sinter cake volume Vsc (m3) calculated in formula (1) is not less than 75 m3, and the ratio Hs/H of the height of the sinter cake supporting stand to the layer thickness of the raw material filling-up layer is not more than 0.8, wherein the formula (1): Vsc (m3)=(2×H/1,000-Hs/1,000)/2×(Hs/H)×A, where H (mm) is a layer thickness of a raw material filling-up layer, Hs (mm) is a height of a sinter cake supporting stand, and A (m2) is effective sintering area.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
