PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mesh body for a working electrode, which is capable of sufficiently suppressing a reduction in power generation capacity of a dye-sensitized solar cell, and to provide a working electrode, a method for manufacturing the same, and a dye-sensitized solar cell.SOLUTION: A mesh body 21 for a working electrode comprises a plurality of first metal wire rods 21A and a plurality of second metal wire rods 21B arranged so as to intersect the first metal wire rods 21A. The first metal wire rods 21A have recesses 23 at intersections with the second metal wire rods 21B. The metal wire rods 21B are fitted into the recesses 23 respectively.
