PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To (1) improve the separating ability of a metallic CNT and a semiconductor CNT, (2) to improve the enhancement of diameter selectivity and (3) to develop an inexpensive density regulating agent having an object that the metallic CNT and the semiconductor CNT are separated from a CNT (a mixed sample of the metallic CNT and the semiconductor CNT) using a centrifuge. PSOLUTION: The CNT is dispersed in an aqueous solution containing a surfactant containing sodium deoxycholate and centrifugal separation is performed corresponding to the difference of the adsorbed amount of the surfactant between the metallic CNT and the semiconductor CNT which are the constituting ingredients of the CNT.
