PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash management server capable of setting an interval of cassette exchange timing long and managing cash mismatching, a cash management method for the cash management server, an automatic teller machine (ATM), and a cash management method for the ATM.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a cash management server 4 for managing cash accommodated in a plurality of cassettes that an ATM has, having a storage section 41 and a control section 42. In the storage section, the amount of cash for each cassette detached from an ATM 2 with cassette exchange, a counted amount obtained by counting for each cassette cash in the cassette detached from the ATM 2 with cassette exchange, and a calculation amount inside the ATM calculated from received/dispensed money information of the ATM are stored as a cash theoretical amount. In the control section, the total amount of the amounts of cash in the plurality of cassettes attached to the ATM with cassette exchange and the total amount of the counted amounts are calculated and the calculated total amount of the amounts of cash and the calculated total amount of the counted amounts are collated with the cash theoretical amount.
