PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a hydrous gel sheet by means of microbial cellulose, by culture that contacts properly with the air, and to provide the hydrous gel sheet obtained by the method.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the hydrous gel sheet comprises using a formulated liquid obtained by inoculating an aerobic Acetobacter xylinum into a culture medium prepared by dissolving sucrose in coconut water regulated to a pH of 3-5, with acetic acid as a culture solution for producing the microbial cellulose with a microorganism and carrying out culturing by dipping a water absorbing sheet therein.
