PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve customer's convenience while achieving high security management.;SOLUTION: An article deposit/delivery machine receives an IC cash card 500 with biological information that is authentication information for uniquely authenticating a customer and customer information stored thereon, writes the customer information stored in the card 500 received from a card insertion unit 150 on an ID tag 230 of a cassette 200 with no other customer information stored therein under the condition that the biological information stored in the card 500 received by the insertion unit 150 coincides with biological information inputted from the customer, and then, performs new registration processing which assigns a cassette 200 to the customer who has inputted its biological information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
