PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for use for preventing the outside face of a formed body from generating creases or warp when drying a columnar ceramic formed body having many through holes inside. PSOLUTION: The attachment comprises a first to a third attachment constituting members 15-17 so configured as to keep a state attached to the ceramic formed body 13 while transforming relatively as accompanying shrinkage of the ceramic formed body 13. The first attachment constituting member 15 comprises an attachment constituting member main body 21 composed of a hard material, and cushioning materials 22a, 22b composed of a material absorbing a liquid part and interposing between the attachment constituting member main body 21 and the ceramic formed body 13. The second and the third attachment constituting members 16, 17 comprise attachment constituting member main bodies 25, 26 composed of the hard material, and cushioning materials 26, 28 composed of the material absorbing the liquid part and interposing between the attachment constituting member main body 25, 26 and the ceramic formed body 13.
