PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for drying a ceramic compact, with which the whole ceramic compact can be uniformly dried in a short time without causing deformations such as warpage caused by inhomogeneous evaporation of water content in the ceramic body when the ceramic body is dried in a drying process of the ceramic body.;SOLUTION: The tool for drying the ceramic compact is used for drying a columnar ceramic compact which is composed of a mixed composition containing a ceramic powder, a binder and a dispersion medium and in which many perforated holes isolated with one another by partition walls are parallelly arrange in the longitudinal direction.
