PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth metal complex which has high solubility in an organic solvent, can emit fluorescence both in a solid and in a solution, and particularly can emit various fluorescent colors including the three primary colors of light by altering the kind of the central metallic ion although the organic ligand of the metal complex is the same and an ink composition using the same.;SOLUTION: By using a rare earth metal complex represented by the formula (wherein Ln is at least one metal selected from the group consisting of yttrium and lanthanoids), a fluorescence-emitting material suitable for use in an inkjet ink composition which has high solubility in an organic solvent and moreover, can develop the three primary colors of light by merely altering the kind of the central metallic ion is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
