PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for a system ceiling composed by using a light source panel such as an LED panel or an organic EL panel, and having high uniformity.;SOLUTION: This lighting system for a system ceiling is used for a ceiling illumination system. The ceiling illumination system is provided with ceiling bars 50 arranged in a lattice-like shape to form nearly-square grids. The ceiling bar 50 has a ceiling bar head part 52 in a upper part, a ceiling bar skirt part 54 wider than the ceiling bar head part 52 in a lower part, and a ceiling bar neck part 56 connecting the ceiling bar head part 52 to the ceiling bar skirt part 54.
