PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely control an amplifying means of an optical subscriber terminal device from the side of a center device.;SOLUTION: In the center device 2, an optical signal including an optical television signal, based on television signal is supplied from a television signal source 4 to an optical fiber 10. In the optical subscriber terminal device 12 provided at the terminal of the optical fiber 10, a photodiode 14 receives the optical signal and generates a reception signal containing reception television signal, and an amplifying unit 26 amplifies it. An optical transmission unit 8 of the center device 2 is supplied with the control data for the amplifying unit 26 from a data send-out unit 44. The optical signal contains optical control data based on the control data. The reception signal of the photodiode 14 of the optical subscriber terminal device 12 includes reception control data, corresponding to the control data, and a CPU 34 controls the amplifying unit 26 according to the reception control data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
