PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reproduction processing method of a roll for OA equipment, with which the outermost layer of the roll is efficiently peeled and removed while leaving an inside layer as it is, and which is excellent in the efficient recovery and reuse of the shaft body of the roll, and to provide the roll for the OA equipment.;SOLUTION: The roll 3 has the shaft body 1 and a plurality of constituting layers 2 formed on the outer circumference of the shaft body 1. In the roll 3, absorptance of a near-infrared laser in the outermost layer (protective layer 22) in the plurality of constituting layers 2 is set to 60% or more and reflectance of the near-infrared laser in a layer (base rubber layer 21) adjacent to the inside of the outermost layer is set to 60% or more.
