PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology in a constitution in which a smoke exhaustion window for being lifted and lowered and a fixed sash window provided below it are arranged.;SOLUTION: A smoke exhaustion window unit 6B includes the smoke exhaustion window 1 for being lifted and lowered, and the fixed sash window 2 provided below the smoke exhaustion window 1. The smoke exhaustion window unit 6B has at least one mullion 63B for assembling the smoke exhaustion window 1 and the fixed sash window 2; and the mullion 63B comprises a first frame body W1, and a second frame body W2 which is fixed to the first frame body W1 and which has a second vertical groove L2 allowing the insertion of the side end of the fixed sash window 2.
