PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable male electric contact of an electric connector and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of easily manufacturing and reducing manufacturing costs and securing reliable contact force against a female contactor.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the male electric contact of an electric connector, upper and lower plate sections extending parallel with each other form convex ribs by press working at lower sides of same longitudinal locations on the upper and lower plate sections located in the front of a connecting plate section against a flat plate member where the upper and lower plate sections are connected to the connecting plate section at the middle position, the tips of the upper and lower plate sections are bent downward by bending the tips of the upper and lower plate sections, the upper and lower plate sections located in the front of the connecting plate section, the upper and lower plate sections located at the back of the connecting plate section, or a part of either of the upper and lower plate sections are bent upward, the location of the upper and lower plate sections at the back of the bent connecting plate section is set up to be a parallel position lower than the upper and lower plate sections, and then, the upper and lower plate sections are bent downward at a right angle around a boundary line as a folding line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
