PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an unsaturated polyester resin composition being a thermosetting resin composition providing a molding that significantly reduces a dissipated amount of styrene in comparison with the conventional one and has excellent properties such as heat resistance, hot water resistance, moldability, molding appearance, dimensional accuracy, mechanical strengths, and the like, a molding material and a molding both comprising the same.;SOLUTION: The unsaturated polyester resin composition comprises an unsaturated polyester resin (C) obtained by dissolving an unsaturated polyester (A) in a polymerizable monomer (B). The unsaturated polyester resin (C) has ≤5.0 mass% styrene content based on the total mass of the unsaturated polyester (A) and the polymerizable monomer (B). The unsaturated polyester (A) is modified with 5-50 mol% of dicyclopentadiene based on 100 mol% of a polybasic acid.
