PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an unsaturated polyester resin composition for sealing a coil, having good moldability and also capable of exhibiting excellent heat dissipation caused by high thermal conductivity, and further to provide a coil- sealing molded product.;SOLUTION: This unsaturated polyester resin composition for sealing the coil comprises 15-25 vol.% unsaturated polyester resin and cross-linking agent, 65-80 vol.% inert magnesium. oxide (dead burned magnesia) having 95 wt.% purity and 5-40 μm average particle diameter, 2-5 vol.% glass fiber, and 2-5 vol.% additive. The heat dissipation can be improved while keeping the good moldability and strength by including the inert magnesium oxide (the dead burned magnesia).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
