PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repetitively perform demodulation for improving the performance without increasing the throughput. PSOLUTION: A modulator 1001 modulates first transmission data. An FEC coder 105 codes second transmission data different from the first transmission data. An interleave unit 106 rearranges the coded second transmission data. A MIMO modulator 107 carries out serial parallel conversion of the rearranged second transmission data to form a plurality of data streams, and modulates the plurality of data streams. A directivity controller 108 performs weighting to the modulated plurality of data streams. A channel multiplexer 109 multiplexes the modulated first transmission data and each of the weighted plurality of data streams on a frequency axis and forms OFDM signals. A transmitter 1000 transmits the OFDM signals outputted from the channel multiplexer 109 through a plurality of antennas 111-1 to 111-n. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
