As for this invention, in regard to the substance which is displayed with the below-mentioned general formula in the anhydrous state after the calcining, as for the said substance, the component, or separation of the catalyst in acid catalyst reacting and it can use as the carrier of the metal or the oxide in absorption/adsorption method: x (M1/nXO2): zZO2: yGeO2: (1-y) SiO2In formula, x under 0.2 where 0 is included (to be desirable under 0.15) shows value, z 0 - 0.1 (to be desirable 0 - 0.05) shows value, y 0 - 1 (to be desirable 0 - 0.75) shows value, M shows the inorganic cation of 1 or plural +n values, as for X the chemical element of 1 or plural +3 oxidation states (Al, B, Ga and Fe) shows, Z the cation of 1 or plural +4 oxidation states (excludes Si and Ge) (to be desirable Ti or Sn)It shows.
