FOLDING CHAIR. The present invention relates to a folding chair (10) with a chair frame (12), wherein a seat portion (14) is pivotable about a folding axis (16) between a folded resting position for the top and a forward folded seat position. The seat portion (14) disposed on the chair frame (12) has an unbroken upper side metal frame (28) with two cane-shaped curved side frame parts (30) facing each other and a portion of joining frame (32) joining on the underside both frame parts (30). From the two cane-shaped frame parts (30) protruding laterally axial stabilizers (24) determine the folding axis (16). The stop pins (26) determine together with the oblong holes (22) in the form of an arc, which are made in trim elements (18) of the chair frame (12), the resting position and the seating position of the part. of seat (14).
