METHOD FOR DETERMINING WAVE FIELD, FREE OF FALSE REFLECTED SIGNALS, EMITTED BY MARINE SEISMIC SOURCE (OPTIONS)

Seismic data is obtained by activating the first seismic source at the first moment of time and one or more seismic sources at their characteristic time points relative to the time of recording signals, while the sources are substantially connected and located at different depths. The first wave field is determined, which would have arisen if the first source had been activated at a point in time selected relative to the start time of the recording, and adjusted in time taking into account the depth of the water. One or more additional wave fields are determined that would have arisen if one or each of several additional sources had been activated at a specified point in time, selected in relation to the specified time for the start of recording, and adjusted in time taking into account the depth of one or more additional sources in water. The first wave field is combined with one or more additional wave fields to determine a wave field with suppressed false reflections, corresponding to the activation of a single seismic source.
