The invention relates to a method of enhancing the absorption of anti-migraine drugs and, thereby, the treatment of migraines by co-administering to an individual in need of an effective amount of ghrelin mimetic or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate and at least one anti-migraine drug selected from a serotonin receptor agonist 5-HT, a tryptamine derivative, an ergoline derivative, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent or an analgesic, or any combination thereof.
