A catalyst for producing propylene, which can maintain stable activity for a long period of time when producing propylene by contacting an oxygen-containing compound with this catalyst in the presence of an olefin having 4 or more carbon atoms, and a method for producing propylene using this catalyst for producing propylene are proposed.
