In order to enhance the productivity of aerobic rice from present yield level, production technology has been invented which has proved beneficial in increasing the productivities of both grain and water. The invention is the combined effect of scheduling irrigation at 125 % Pan Evaporation + application of 100 % Recommended Doses of NPK Fertilizers + Azophospmet + Humic Acid through drip system. This invention has proved beneficial in boosting the grain yield coupled with the increased values for water productivity besides improving the fertilizer use efficiency. Laboratory analysis made to test the efficacy of drip fertigation technology proved that this invention has also supported with the favourable performance of parameters such as Root Lengh Density, Root Mass Density, Oxidizing power of roots and photosynthetic efficiency of the crop under the drip fertigation technology. Thus, this invention assumes greater applicability in the areas of limited water resources.
