The present invention relates to low cost and sensitive technique for detection of the precancerous and early cancerous lesions of uterine cervix in women in Primary health Centre located even in remote areas where there is no electricity. More specifically, the present invention relates to detection of the precancerous and early cancerous lesions of uterine cervix by visual inspection of uterine cervix through a device and the detection by said device is highly sensitive and specific.
