This invention relates to optoelectronics is used to create a cost effective embedded image processing unit. In existing method, an image is processed as video or still images by an image sensor and the associated digital image processing units and circuits. This method is invented in processing plurality of subjects at different angles can be processed using single existing camera unit. This is using an optical pathway between different subjects to a common pathway where the existing camera unit is present for digital imaging and processing is done. The plurality of subjects is directed to the camera unit using a light actuator and the timing signal to sample multiple subjects by a single camera unit. This invention is an economical method for 3G mobile phones. Surveillance video cameras and many more in reducing power consumption and cost of the camera unit.
