The present invention discloses an anti-diabetic composition comprising extracts or fractions of fresh cow urine. More specifically, the invention provides anti-diabetic composition comprising hexane, ethyl acetate, butanol or aqueous extract of the fresh cow urine. The invention also provides a process for preparing an anti-diabetic composition comprising fractions of fresh cow urine.
