The present invention relates to a program for conducting research at the undergraduate level in which an organization has been formed which is associated with a number of corporate and government bodies which require research to be done at a regular basis. Universities can get associated to this organization and may provide good mentors. Students wishing to join the Undergraduate Research Program can enroll in it and get a research project. The organization also provides the student with a mentor who will guide the student in his research. This research work is done online at the convenience of the student and has to be submitted by a given deadline. After completion of the project, the student submits it to the organization, where it is assessed by his mentor.. The organization in turn submits it to the corporate who had demanded research on the project. After successful completion of the project the undergraduate student is awarded a certificate for the research conducted.
