摘要

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a process for experimentally determining reliable dynamic viscosities in heavy crude oil at a constant temperature (room temperature up to 463 K) and pressures of from about 68.9 MPA to about atmospheric pressure, including the dynamic viscosity in the bubble point pressure and under the same, based on a simple, reliable and accurate device. The device used in the present invention is based on an electromagnetic concept which only uses a mobile element (piston) through a fluid at a constant force. The time required by the piston to travel a fix distance is related in an exact manner to the dynamic viscosity of the fluid contained in a measurement chamber. When the fluid contained in the measurement chamber is more viscous, the displacement of the piston would be slower.
