The invention relates to a technology for carrying out PAN carbon fiber and laboratory single cable installation. The claimed installation for applying said technology comprises a tensometric device (A) for measuring the strain in the PAN cable, 3 ovens (14, 15, 16) for thermal stabilization, a tube furnace (C) for the pre-carbonization of the thermally stabilized PAN cable, and a tube furnace (D) for the carbonization of the pre-carbonized cable, known per se, while the device for measuring the strain in the cable comprises a horizontal beam (1) with two fixed vertical rods (2) and a sliding vertical rod (3) which pushes an elastic steel blade (4) having tensometric marks on both faces, said tensometric marks being connected to a tensometer (7) coupled with a recorder (8), the 3 rods (1, 2 and 3) being provided at the lower part with a roller (9) for the passage of the cable.
