Long Span Aerial Cable Installation Technology

摘要

We have developed a long-span aerial cable installation technology for use over, for example, rivers or valleys, to promote FTTH services. In this paper, we report the following two items, which make our approach superior to existing installation technologies. 1) The components of our technology enable us to overlay or replace cable easily. 2) Our technology can be adopted without special works or equipment.
